Sorry… it’s been a few days since I’ve updated. I can’t say that I’ve been busy, because now that summer school is over (I got a 97%, hooray), I have very little to do. Carley and I have been chillin’ a lot… so much fun. I’ve never been best friends with a girl like I am now. Sure, I’ve had lots of friends who are girls, and I’m close to them, but Carley and I can just sit in the car and drive around for hours and we don’t even have to say anything. We are totally comfortable with each other – it’s really cool.
Oh yeah, did I mention that the Warped Tour totally rocked? I met Dave from Sum 41, all of Less Than Jake, and the drummer of Fenix Tx told me to get out of the way. Good times.
Here’s my ticket. So that was really sweet. I got a new mouse!! Hooray…. sheesh, I’m such a dork. I babysit
for the two coolest kids in the world, Reilly and Keegan. I was Reilly’s swim instructor
a few summers ago, and he’s a really great kid. I’ve been babysitting for him and his little brother since. They are quite possibly the most fun kids I’ve ever dealt with. Anyway, their dad Doug is a Mac guy like I am, so we always talk about computer stuff whenever I’m over. He gives me fun computer toys to play with and I write reviews for him. What a great guy! He even lets me keep the cool gadgets that he gives me! So far he’s given me a pair of Altec Lansing speakers with a nice subwoofer, and he just gave me two mouses(yes, the correct computer term for more than one mouse is mouses). They’re both by Kensington. One is a really slick optical and the other is a really weird big ol’ trackball. Although I’ve always hated trackballs, I’ll still try it out and write him some good comprehensive reviews for both of them.
Why did I tell you all that? Sheesh, it really shows how little I have to do these days (until I get a second job or at least more hours at CompUSA), I’ve resorted to informting you all of my new computer goodies. I’m such a nerd.
OH YEAH!! I downloaded every track of the new NSYNC album, Celebrity! It freakin’ rocks! It’s not what you’d think it would be. Boy band = sappy love ballads and the same old crap. Not with this
new album. It’s all fast-paced electronica dance stuff… damn it’s good. It hasn’t come out yet, but you can download all of the new tracks from www.n-tense.net.
