I have a post all typed up, but it’s 80 million degrees outside and my laptop keeps overheating and not turning on and giving me problems. I hate when stuff like this happens. I’ll try to fix it whenever I can to upload the pictures that go with it and what not, but chances are I’m not going to be able to make any sort of good post until I get home to Chicago on June 6th. Yeah, it sucks. I know… I want to post and keep you crazy kids updated with my various adventures and antics. Stay tuned and root for my ill laptop to make it through. Oh yeah, wish me luck on finals.

Oh, I just remembered I never posted about this. A few weeks ago, I was walking home from the lightrail station on my way back from a club. I was hungry and I saw that Burger King’s drive thru was open but the main room wasn’t. I walked up to the window and this fat angry black woman looks right at me and says:
“Get away from the window or I’ll call the cops!!”
I was like, what the HELL is she talking about?! and I said “What? I just want some food…”
And without calming down at all, she shouted “It is illegal to walk up to any drive thru in Colorado.”
I was really confused but said “I’m sorry, I had no idea, calm down. I just wanted to order some food.”
She was still pissed. “You have to have either a car or a bike.”
“So I can’t get food unless I’m sitting on a bike right now?”
“Yes. Now leave before I call the police.”
It was weird as hell, and I walked away hungry but laughing my ass off at how worked up she was over nothing. What a nite that was.
**6/11 UPDATE: I should be getting my laptop back today, so when I do I’ll make sure to post asap.
**6/12 UPDATE: Stupid CDW, ordering one replacement part at a time. Ok, I’m supposed to get my laptop back Friday and THEN I’ll post. I’d apologize for this taking so long, but it’s CDW’s fault that they order a system board, then two days later a keyboard and cooling fan. Roooar. I know the Shoutbox is messed up – my host is fixing PHP problems. Stay tuned kiddies.

Ha, you nailed it Lennart. Finals aren’t too bad, but my laptop sure is messed up. The post I have is pretty huge and when I get home, I’ll add all the pictures and stuff. Stay tuned, kiddies.

yea… i always wondered about what they’d do if i walked up to the drive thru. that’s stupid tho, i mean they’re driving (hahaha, no pun intended) customers away, and losing money. hahaha. u should’ve just been like "i’m driving my inVISDABLE car *vroom vroom*" maybe she would’ve thought u were crazy and let u get the food… hehehehehehe QUACK!

It’s illegal in most states, actually, because it’s so easy to rob them that way.

Peet, we simply can’t have people walking up to drive through windows like that. People who do that are a threat to society. (sarcasm).. Conan is sooo tall!

Hehe, that rocks. My friends and I did that once. We walked up to the drive through in the formation of a car, two in front, two in back, and tried to order. It was hysterical to see the guy get so frustrated. We DID act like the car was there, so I think he thought we escaped from the local crazy person home. Meh, it was fun. Way to be, Peet!

Peet…let me see, how to explain a "Squibby". A Squibby is a Shibby with a ‘lil bit of Squeak in it. Ever seen "Dude, Where’s My Car?" ("No and then!") Well, it’s on Ashton Kutcher’s car, his lisence plate says "Shibby". They use it as their cool slang as well. My best friend has a turtle named Shibby. Isn’t that weird? Anyway, Squeak is my nickname. To find out why, well…you won’t unless you meet me. So, yeah. It’s Shibby and Squeak put together. Now that I’ve written a novel-sized post on here, I’m going to shut up. Later!

Ahh, I gotcha. I am a big fan of DWMC, and use ‘shibby’ frequently – its actually the name of the buddy group of my closest homeys. Nice combo.

Peet, that rocks – we have the same thought pattern. The girls on my buddy list are "Shibbies" and the guys are "Shibbers". We’re cool. Yup…
