Big things are in the works here at g27. I will soon be premiering a major new section of the site called the jumpstudio. It’s going to be the place where I can display all of my creative-type endeavors. I just got a Canon Digital Rebel XT, so there will be a major (flash-viewer-based) photography section, a section for graphic and web design, a music section with old and new recordings (a lot of new recordings as soon as I get my hands on a mic and mbox interface), and I don’t know what else. Suggestions? I’m almost done with the CSS design for jumpstudio, so I’ll display it proudly very soon.
For now, you can check out what the photography section is going to look like by checking out pictures from the hiking trip that I went on last weekend. I got some great shots.
I was talking to Colin and he told me that Mrs. Steger (mother of Max in Blacktop Mourning) came into Red Robin the other day and somehow recognized Colin. He said without prompt, she talked his ear off about how things went with me. She (twice) said they bought me two $3000 first class tickets to fly to Chicago for that show. Not that their friend hooked them up with an $80 round trip and that I happened to be in first class one of the flights because of standby, but that they bought $6000 worth of airfare for me. She also said that I am a good studio singer but was off key during the whole show, and that I have no charisma or charm!! Also, the reason they took so long to get back to me was because they were so nice and didn’t want to hurt my feelings.
He didn’t ask her a single thing, she just walked up to him, said “I know someone you know” and made wild crap up.
I’m so glad that I’m not involved with them.
