end of the beginning

Monday, October 3rd, 2005

My final year of DU has begun, and so far it’s great. I’ve been so good about taking a full load of my required classes every quarter since I started, that if I took a full load first quarter of this year, I could graduate way early. Instead of doing that, I’m taking only 10 credit hours and I’m looking for internships. I’m hoping to find something in music production/entertainment, working at a concert venue, something like that.
I’ve been promising pictures of my new place. I tried to clean up my bedroom a little bit to take pictures, but these aren’t the final shots that I take. I have to have maintenence come in here and chop the bottom lip of my closet door off so it closes all the way and I can move my nightstand in front of it. Also, I’m rebuilding some old PCs in my living room so that place is a mess. Check it out:

That’s my bedroom – I got some pictures of the living room, but it was too dark and I’ll take new ones once I clean the place up.
I sold my computer on craigslist and built a new one from scratch. My new compy has taken up a bunch of my time recently, but it’s been worth it. I built a hard drive silencer box at Molly’s dad’s place this weekend – looks exactly like this. My HDs are suspended with elastic bungee cords so all the vibration and whining that they usually would give off is silenced. It’s so sweet! The only thing I might still buy for the compy is this CPU cooler because I want my new processor to be as cool as possible.
I’ve gotta go reformat Molly’s laptop. I’ll post some recent events later.
