Damn, sorry it’s been so long since I posted. My laptop had a defective harddrive and it took forever to get it fixed. I finally got it back and now I restored all of my software and what not and I finally have a minute to post. First off, I got a dope snowboard! It’s a Burton Clash 157 – it’s green with streaks and ninja stars! It’s the most beautiful snowboard I’ve ever seen and it’s all mine. I put the front and back of it on the sides of this post. It doesn’t look that great because I had to give it a black background and I Photoshopped it in about 2 minutes because I really wanted to get to posting. Plus, Chapelle’s Show is on in 20 so I GOTTA catch that.
Anyway, the last two weekends I’ve gone snowboarding with my crew – Q, Dan, and Googs. I used to ski sometimes but I never lived very close to a mountain (being from north shore Chicago is not conducive to skiing) and I tried snowboarding I think twice and I don’t remember being very good. This time we went to A-Basin because it’s sorta small and a good place to learn on. Dan from Texas had almost never snowboarded too, so he and I learning together. It was good to have someone with me who wasn’t blazing past me and doing a 540 Misty every time I’d ask them to show me how to toeside carve. So the first day, Dan and I sucked and we could barely turn. That day was just ok, but I didn’t wanna just jump into the sport and end up in a tree. The next day, we went back, ready to rock, and I almost broke my ass 3 times. One of those times I was toeside, back to the bottom of the mountain, totally perpendicular to the run track, and I caught an edge and fell FLAT backwards onto my ass and then nailed my head on the ground. Fortunately I have a helmet so there was no serious damage done. The next few days Dan and I got much better each day and last weekend we went to Breckenridge… it’s HUGE! Holy crap! The only place I had gone snowboarding before this was wussy Wilmot Mountain in Wisconsin, and some little mountains with my boy Josh in Michigan, and that was prolly 5 years ago or more. Breck was totally sick, and I went off all the huge jumps in the trick park which was scary but mad fun. This weekend we’re bringing a video camera to the parks so we’re gonna film like crazy.
Go check out the scenic gallery with unlabeled, beautiful Colorado mountain pictures and assorted crazy crap.

Happy New Year, everybody. I hope y’all had a great 2002 and that your 2003 will be even better. Frankly, I think the actual number ’2003′ looks kinda stupid on paper, but I can deal with that. I hope to go on lots of fun adventures this year, not only for my own enjoyment, but to keep my readers entertained. I hope that this site is a daily amusement for everyone who reads it, and I wanna thank every one of you guys for reading it. Getting emails and IMs and text messages from people I don’t even know saying stuff like “Dude your site cracks me up – I read it every day with my girlfriend and we have a great time” is what makes me want to continue writing. Cheers.
If you really love this site, I have a mission for all you g27 freaks out there – get a bunch of your friends, guys and girls, just girls, heh (there’s no limit on how many people, more = better) and take a few pictures of them holding a sign that says “g27 rocks” or “peet is a pimp” or something like that and email the pics to me. Please do this for me – it would rock!
